An exciting opportunity has arisen to become the Acting Content Commissioner within the Real Life hub at Future Plc.What you'll be doing...

The Acting Content Commissioner is responsible for sourcing great features across Chat, Woman and Woman’s Own.

A solid background of working on real life titles is essential, as is a sound knowledge of media law.

Responsibilities of the job include:

Previous experience commissioning and writing for women’s magazines, preferably in the true-life market.
Good understanding of what makes a great story for our brands, especially ones that would work across multiple titles.
Proven ability to spot stories that would work as timely, trend pieces.
Excellent communication skills, to liaise with agencies, freelancers and PRs, as well as being comfortable dealing with interviewees.
Bulging contacts book and ability to build strong relationships in order to source great free content from PRs.
Excellent time management, comfortable working to tight deadlines, on your own and being self-motivated.
Experience of managing budgets.
Ability to write regular content across the publications.
