Game Rant is looking for a candidate with extensive familiarity and knowledge about a broad range of video game genres. The ideal candidate should both play and follow the news surrounding existing and upcoming games within their respective genres. In this role you will be asked to assist the editorial team with coverage around specific games or subjects pertaining to the gaming industry.
Responsibilities:
Expanding coverage of specific games or subjects
Contributing articles of all types with careful attention paid to SEO best practices (approximately 65-100 articles a month)
Paying high attention to detail for spelling, grammar, image quality, fact-checking and sourcing
Working under tight deadlines and submitting tasks on time
Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:
Relevant experience in writing.
Broad knowledge of gaming history and culture.
A solid grasp of the English language and the ability to communicate niche ideas to a wide audience.
