Investigative/Enterprise Editor

The Courier Journal is seeking an experienced editor to drive consistent, regular accountability and investigative coverage across a talented newsroom with a rich investigative history. This editor will supervise experienced reporters who are capable of the deep research and compelling storytelling that has built the newspaper’s reputation for investigative journalism. The editor will build and foster relationships between investigations and other teams and set a standard for the entire newsroom in holding leaders and institutions accountable and serving as a watchdog for readers. The editor will be expected to collaborate regularly with other team leaders to produce frequent accountability journalism and build investigative talent in every corner of the newsroom.
