General Assignment Reporter

New Hampshire’s statewide newspaper has a rare opening in our newsroom for a general assignment reporter focused on breaking news and news enterprise, with an emphasis on education and health. The successful candidate will be adept at social media, news photography, thoughtful daily reporting and developing investigations that go well-beyond first-day headlines. The candidate should demonstrate clear, concise, error-free writing and the ability to gather string on longer pieces while adapting to the content needs of a daily newspaper. Nights and weekend work will be required.
