Are you passionate about Bethesda games & looking forward to the new Starfield title? We are looking for a talented senior editor to join the team to work directly in planning content, building strategies & driving community engagement around the upcoming title for a site in our network. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and executing written content strategies, as well as a specific interest in building engagement & audience around the new Starfield title.
The role is a full-time freelance, remote-working position where you will work alongside the Head of Operations & Content Strategist to build an engaged audience around Starfield. You will be expected to create content yourself and delegate to a team of writers. You will receive complete on-the-job training from our editorial staff and will quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of editorial best practices and SEO.
Key responsibilities:
Work with the editorial team to develop our content strategy and engagement plan around the upcoming Starfield game
Work with the Head of Operations and Tech Lead to work on improving site features that are targeted at engaging the Starfield community
Generate and write original content ideas
Manage our content management/planning structure
Performing other writing tasks as required, including creating news, features, and reviews.
Producing error-free copy to a deadline, strictly following our SEO and style guidelines.
Working with senior editorial staff to deliver on content strategy, perform competitor analysis, and identify traffic opportunities.
Utilising our workflow tools effectively on a daily basis, including ClickUp.
Performing other tasks across the brand's digital and social platforms as required.
