Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and sales. This includes crafting compelling product descriptions, blog posts, articles, newsletters, and social media content that resonate with our target audience of motorsports enthusiasts.
- Research & Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new vehicle releases, and advancements in motorsports technology to produce informed and authoritative content. Your finger should be on the pulse of the extreme sports vehicle world to ensure our content is always ahead of the competition.
- SEO Optimization: Utilize SEO best practices to write content that increases visibility and rankings on search engines. You’ll be expected to research and integrate relevant keywords, manage meta content, and understand the nuances of SEO-friendly structures.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with brand strategies, promotional activities, and overall business goals. You’ll also be the narrative engine behind our product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Editing & Proofreading: Ensure that all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience across all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print, and in-person.
- Content Management: Regularly track and report on content performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve reach and effectiveness. Manage the content calendar and ensure that all deliverables are met on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation, journalism, or copywriting, preferably within the motorsports or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience in creating SEO-driven content.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical information into engaging, readable content for a diverse audience.
- Exceptional research skills and the ability to create content on new topics quickly and efficiently.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and keyword research tools.
- Passionate about motorsports with a genuine interest in ATV's, motorbikes, and extreme sports vehicles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
