The Role

The Associate Visuals Editor will be partly responsible for the visuals on the British GLAMOUR website. Candidates should have excellent technical and editorial judgement and a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.

The Team
The Associate Visuals Editor will be working within the British GLAMOUR editorial team and digital picture desk alongside the Commerce Picture Editor while reporting into the Senior Visuals Editor in Central London.

What will you be doing?

Assisting with picture research and formatting for online

To assist in the creation of high-quality homepage content including photography, design, collages and GIFs. Illustrations preferred, but not required.

Maintaining the high standard visuals of the website and ensure they are consistently on-brand across multiple platforms

Collaborate directly with editors and writers to produce the most visually appealing feature

Demonstrate strong editorial and visual judgement

Who you are:

2+ years of experience working on a digital picture desk or relevant field.

Must be familiar with the GLAMOUR digital visual aesthetic and have a keen interest in beauty, fashion, empowerment and lifestyle.

Knowledge and experience of photographic sources, agencies and copyright law.

Demonstrated experience using Adobe Photoshop and producing digital graphic design

Highly organised, detail oriented, and have the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines under pressure

Ability to think outside the box and contribute ideas to editorial brainstorms
