At the heart of the Go.Compare website is an SEO-first strategy. Bringing together technical SEO expertise, the highest standards of content, and closely following the principles of EAT, the SEO team is responsible for one of Go.Compare’s critical marketing channels.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be ultimately responsible for the performance of the SEO channel but also influence adjacent teams e.g. tech, brand, product, UX; to ensure that business innovation takes place in ways that will both protect existing and grow future acquisition via organic search. You will work tightly with Go.Compare’s leadership and trading teams to ensure SEO strategy aligns with business objectives. Finally, you will be in charge of a sizeable outreach budget with a roster of several well-embedded agencies. As the Head of SEO at Go.Compare you will also oversee content production for the front-end of our website; continuously improving on what already exists and closing gaps with our highly active competitors.

Excellent communication; being clear with parallel business units on what is needed to help SEO succeed, and what may threaten it
Analytical skills - dissecting SEO factors contributing not only to Go.Compare but to competitor’s performance
Strong team management skills; the ability to organise, drive and stabilise a growing team
