We are seeking rising college seniors who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree to join an exciting 10-week summer internship experience starting June 10th, 2024. As an early career professional, you will be part of a paid internship program that will include a robust learning and training curriculum, mentorship from employees in your selected field, access to senior leaders, and more. As an intern, you will be assigned challenging projects based on the area of the business you will be supporting. In your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute and make a real impact.

Candidates must be:

Rising senior graduating in 2025

Ability to work out of our 1 WTC office on a hybrid basis

Available June 10, 2024 - August 16, 2024

​GQ is an editorial powerhouse — both documenting the most exciting stories across the culture and moving it forward. We’re looking for a driven editorial intern with a fresh perspective and bright ideas to support GQ.

​In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a seasoned editorial team and gain hands-on professional experience as you own day-to-day tasks, contribute to special projects, and attend departmental meetings.

​Ideal candidates will have a passion for GQ’s unique brand of storytelling. Candidates should also be extremely organized, efficient multi-taskers, and most importantly self-starters with a strong interest in helping a large editorial team function effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

Attend and participate in staff meetings, including editorial brainstorms

Daily work in the office consists of editorial support (research, writing, editing, fact-checking, proofreading, transcribing, web production)

Assist senior staff on select special projects, packages, and tentpole editorial events

Entry-level editorial operations support

Ideal Qualifications:

Prior editorial experience (internships, fellowships, student publications, etc.) is encouraged but not required

Experience writing, editing, fact-checking, transcribing, researching, and/or proofreading

Experience with a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus

Be up to date on culture, fashion/beauty/wellness, entertainment, and social media trends

Eager work ethic and ability to work as a part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical

Proficiency in Google Suite and social media platforms

Hourly Rate: $25/ hour
