Brief description

The position of Grant Writer requires the applicant to source opportunities to expand One Vision Production’s reach. The position involves identifying funding opportunities and writing detailed grants sourcing revenue for our growing organisation. The Grant Writer is required to write relevant grants as determined by the CEO and Business Manager. This role is concentrated on mainly writing effective grants and suits a strong writer with experience in the non for profit sector. A big part of this role is collecting data and assessing our impact, understanding in how we demonstrate success of programs is a crucial part of this role. Please don't apply for this role unless had non for profit grant writing experience. This is contract work for 3 days a week, option to grow later.

Tasks

Grow OVP’s national presence through communication with aligned networks
Write grants for philanthropy, government and investors to grow OVP and sustain projects
Equit grants and demonstrate success of programs

Measure impact for grant writing demonstrating our impact and success of projects
Extend OVP’s reach, sourcing opportunities, grants, funding options and 
philanthropic investment 

Generate potential sponsorship and sales leads and opportunities

Work closely with the, Business Manager and CEO to identify projects worth pursuing 

Measure and analyze ROI of the role and associated projects 
Qualifications and requirements 


Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite

Monday

Knowledge of the Google Suite and Google Drive

Ability to write to strict deadlines

Demonstration on sourcing and equitting grants in previous work

Display in-depth knowledge of Not For Profit Sector

Divers Licence

Degree or higher education

Ability to listen, communicate effectively and be open to accepting other team members ideas

Willingness to be flexible in approach to all situations and tasks

Punctual and reliable

Great time management skills

Integrity

Honesty and ethical

Attention to detail is essential

Strong knowledge of non-profit organisations and confidence to contribute to innovative solutions in this sector

Experience working for start ups and grass roots organisations
