Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure funding for the organization
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential funding sources
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information and data for grant applications
- Conduct budgeting and financial analysis for grant proposals
- Monitor and track grant awards, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives
- Proofread and edit grant proposals for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines
- Manage contracts and agreements related to grant-funded projects
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant writing, with a track record of successful funding acquisition
- Strong research skills to identify potential funding sources and stay updated on grant opportunities
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and compelling proposals
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis for grant applications
- Knowledge of program development principles and strategies
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in grant proposals
- Ability to effectively manage contracts and agreements related to grant-funded projects
- Experience in technical writing is a plus
