We focus our energy on our well-read and well-respected print edition. There are days when we have four staff-bylined stories on our front page. Our website has a hard paywall — zero free stories a month. It all adds up to a recipe for success that's unheard of in newspaper publishing these days.

Our presses roll at 11:15 a.m. each day, so our copy desk works from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. That leaves plenty of time in the afternoons to enjoy the near-limitless outdoor recreation in the Grants Pass area and the Rogue River valley.
Previous experience as a copy editor or journalist is preferred. This is not remote work; your presence in the newsroom is critical.
