COPYWRITER (CONTRACT) Guaranteed is looking for a versatile copywriter to bring our brand messaging to life. This role will play a paramount role in helping our company succeed in a space that has been historically taboo. As our first its kind on the marketing team, you will be crucial in aiding our mission to ignite necessary cultural conversation around death and dying. Your words will impact millions of lives in how they think about death, plan for end-of-life care, or care for their loved ones. We are looking for someone who can craft messaging across the various mediums read by different audiences in the healthcare space. Your work will directly impact our efforts as a healthcare company to build awareness of our brand, educate our community, power our sales team, and improve our patient experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work across all stakeholders to ensure our messaging efforts are supported across digital, web, print, and out-of-home design needs
- Power our consumer marketing efforts by owning copywriting across organic social, paid ads, emails, branded content, OOH ads and more
- Power our B2B marketing efforts by owning copywriting across infographics, data visualization, sales materials, and conference materials
- Manage and maintain the copywriting process to ensure all of our deadlines are met in a timely manner
- Spearhead the development of our brand tone and voice guide to help scale our copywriting function
- Continue to develop how the Guaranteed brand message manifests in any new channels we are testing
- Collaborate with a team of in-house marketers, designers and agencies to help bring campaigns and projects to life
SKILLS AND TOOLSET YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- A love for words
- A keen ability to understand the reader and craft messaging to solicit different responses or actions based on established campaign goals
- A talent for writing in a wide range of voices, anything from personal to direct response to thought leadership and beyond.
- An ability to work in ambiguity and make design decisions with less guidance
NICE TO HAVE
- Lead copywriter for major brand campaigns
- A passion for distilling complex topics into something more reader-friendly
- Relevant Experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a copywriter
- Experience writing either B2C or B2B content
