Staff Writer

The Hannibal Courier-Post, a twice weekly newspaper in historic Hannibal, Mo., has an immediate opening for a staff writer. Come be a journalist where Mark Twain grew up. Primary duties of this full-time position include writing content for online and print of Hannibal and surrounding areas; articles will include features, special events and breaking news. This position also includes photography and assisting with social media.

This position demands strong writing skills, good news judgment and time management. A knowledge of AP style is necessary. Candidates must be willing to have a flexible schedule and work well with a variety of people from the community.
