Head of External Affairs

You are currently working in a high profile, policy rich sector at strategic level and want an opportunity to really steer external affairs the way you know will get results. Collaboration, influencing and being a team player are key to ensuring your success in this role. Having worked in a highly regulated or government environment, you will understand what is required to transform and enhance reputations through inspirational and innovative external engagement. Reporting directly into the Executive team, specifically Michael Turner, our Director of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, you will have tangible input into AQA’s strategic aim to shape the future of assessment and diversify. You will inherit plenty of momentum and ambition that will help you as Head of External Affairs to inspire, support and empower your experienced teams, including: External Communications, Public Affairs & Policy, and AQi (AQA’s recently launched online insight hub) comprising circa 25 people. Bringing them together to increase AQA’s reach and reputation and the impact it has, and can have, across the assessment sector.
