About the Role:
The Healthcare Content Writer is responsible for helping drive the future of Augmedix’s digital communications. The Healthcare Content Writer will write and edit product, brand, and digital content, such as emails, social media, and web-based resources, for executives at hospitals and health systems. The Healthcare Content Writer will report directly to the Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with the Communications Marketing Manager and Social Media Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, collaborator, and storyteller that’s passionate about healthcare technology.
Responsibilities:
Research, write, and edit technical content such as marketing emails, sales materials, social media posts, web pages, blog posts, and digital advertising campaigns
Create email nurturing sequences for marketing automation, including nurturing campaigns to pipeline, trade show attendees, and more
Repurpose long-form thought leadership pieces into bite-size campaigns across marketing channels
Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate concepts into compelling copy and user-friendly content for different audiences and through different stages of the buyer journey
Develop landing page copy for event promotion and lead generation
Expand existing website page copy, prioritizing search engine optimization to ensure relevance.
Review and analyze existing content to ensure quality and accuracy in all projects
Strengthen Augmedix’s voice and tone across all external touchpoints
Create and monitor organic social media strategy development, including hashtag analysis and recommendations
Support community management, social monitoring, and social listening activities
Write and edit engaging organic content for various social networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Optimize language, tone, and message of organic social media posts
Support the messaging framework, differentiators, and monitor the competitive landscape for messaging intel to elevate our communications strategy
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, digital marketing, English, healthcare, education or related field is required
4+ years of experience with medical writing, copywriting, journalism, or public relations
Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and project management skills
Experience producing copy across marketing channels
Experience editing and proofreading with acute attention to detail
Experience in B2B messaging, understanding of SEO keyword usage, and healthcare writing is preferred
Demonstrated ability to adhere consistently to a brand’s voice and move fluidly between multiple brand voices
