The Ecommerce Writer will join the Central Ecommerce Content Team to write across key shopping verticals across Hearst UK’s brands.

About The Role

Create quality ecommerce articles – buying guides, features, news stories and deals pages – according to brands’ needs, in the appropriate tone and style. Initial focus will be on travel and parenting content but other verticals covered may include homes, beauty, tech, fashion, and health and fitness.

Collaborate with digital brand editors to create new content and keep current content updated.

Work with the SEO team to ensure all content is fully optimised.

Support Hearst’s brands over key shopping events and sales periods.

Coordinate with the newsletter and social teams to ensure shopping content is promoted across platforms.

Use analytical tools to produce monthly reports on content performance.

About You

Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce engaging, original copy.

Experience writing ecommerce content across a variety of verticals.

Strong knowledge of consumer trends.

Experience working with PRs to get the inside scoop on new product launches.

Experience writing for multiple publications.

Organised, meticulous and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good knowledge of SEO best practice.

An understanding of affiliate linking and platforms.

Experience using content management systems.

Experience using analytics tools is desirable.

Experience using photoshop is desirable.
