Successful contributors should be able to demonstrate:

A passion for and deep understanding of the Commanders and the NFL
A track record of professional sports coverage (NFL/CFB preferred)
Proven ability to vet, verify and confirm information
Understanding of news cycles and sports media trends
Ability to produce clean and polished copy
Ability and desire to react rapidly to on-and-off-field breaking news
Strong multi-tasking and communication skills
Ability to quickly navigate social media to spot news and find additional information after a story breaks
