Hemmings is seeking a creative, dynamic writer and editor to play a key part in our ongoing digital expansion. We’re looking for someone to take the lead on the daily pulse of the enthusiast car world. You’ll be on top the latest industry news, buzz-worthy viral content, and relevant events. This person must be able to work independently and write clear, entertaining copy but also collaborate with the rest of the staff with new ideas and approaches to our content. The News Editor must be able to craft highly engaging written articles on short deadlines. The ideal candidate is comfortable with editing, researching, and writing at all stages of story production. This person should also be able to adapt to changing priorities as we continue to refine our editorial strategy. Part of this job also involves living the automotive hobby, from participating in events, driving classics, and reviewing new cars that enthusiasts are interested in. If that doesn’t get you excited, this is not the job for you.
