About the Role:
We are looking for an agile, resourceful Copywriter, Direct Response TV to join the creative team while supporting marketing efforts across the Hims & Hers brands. This highly focused role requires strong creative and conceptual thinking as well as high-quality execution of ideas and initiatives. Collaboration is the name of the game, and this individual will work closely with art directors, producers, 3D and 2D artists, video editors, and other cross-departmental stakeholders to make high-performing breakthrough creative. To us, a successful copywriter is someone who delivers on strategic initiatives in innovative, creative, and sophisticated ways.
You Will:
Concept, script, and create direct response TVCs utilizing an extensive library of existing footage
Work closely and flexibly with partners to work rapidly and confidently
Have a working knowledge of post-production workflows and the steps required to create broadcast-ready TVCs
Effectively pitch and communicate concepts and strategies, solving business problems with creative solutions
Use your expertise as an insight-driven storyteller to elevate every asset you touch
Be ruthless when it comes to editing, grammar, and proofreading techniques
Follow and champion brand and content guidelines
You Have:
3-5 years of copywriting experience, with specific experience scripting video or TV
Ability to deliver on strategic marketing initiatives while championing brand voice, tone, and direction
Excellent knowledge of creative best practices and current trends
Experience collaborating with designers and interacting with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work dynamically and resourcefully using existing assets to create unique and effective spots
Analytical thinker with experience in data-driven marketing
Ability to drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement
Experience using insights and strategic thinking to influence stakeholders
Ability to communicate the benefits of marketing strategies to business audiences of all levels
Experience driving multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness to be hands-on and proactive
In-depth understanding of the healthcare, wellness, or CPG industry a plus
