Digital Communications Specialist

The Digital Content Specialist will help to build and strengthen Hologic’s reputation among multiple audiences by curating and publishing content across Hologic’s internal and external communications channels. These efforts will boost employee engagement and elevate Hologic’s external reputation.

Under the guidance/supervision of the Director of Corporate Communications, the Digital Communications Specialist will manage the corporate communications content calendar, publish content across all Hologic communications channels with the goal of strengthening messaging and increasing followership, and provide data (through media monitoring and publishing metrics) to measure effectiveness.

What To Expect:

Responsible for editorial coordination and publishing of content for Hologic’s company-wide intranet, internal employee newsletters, web newsroom, office-based digital screens, key email distributions and social media channels (as needed).
Responsible for daily media monitoring and producing the daily internal media report for leadership and divisional stakeholders.
In collaboration with the communications specialist and agency partners, responsible for tracking key media and communications metrics and analytics and providing quarterly reporting.
Responsible for ongoing updates and maintenance of Hologic’s intranet.
Responsible for ad hoc social media support and maintenance and quality control for Hologic’s YouTube platform.

What We Expect:

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, advertising/public relations or related field required.
3-5 years of proven communications experience in corporate, product or executive communications.
Communications agency experience preferred.
Prior experience within a global and publicly traded company, medical device or life sciences industry beneficial.
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills are required along with a desire to create high-impact communications.
Well-versed in multi-media communications platforms.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, across geographies.
Collaborative, team-oriented partner with keen ability to effectively listen, distill information, think creatively and deliver communications that drive results.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $63,200 to $98,700 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
