We're looking for a Head of Celebrity Style News to be responsible for leading a dedicated news team focused on creating inspiring celebrity style content. If you're an experienced digital journalist with an obsession for celebrity style and interior design, and someone who is motivated by driving great results, we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing…

As Head of Celebrity Style News at Homes & Gardens, you’ll be writing, editing and commissioning day in day out, always on the hunt for the next story that’s going to go viral. From Meg Ryan’s rustic farmhouse aesthetic through to Anne Hathaway’s quiet luxury living room, you’ll not only be able to find the stories, you’ll also be great at pinpointing an on-brand angle. You’ll also manage all the existing celebrity content on the site, to ensure it’s optimised for evergreen opportunities and has a smart publishing schedule that maximises its opportunity.

With the support of the senior editors, you will establish a content strategy for your section and lead a team to deliver it. You’ll be passionate about SEO and forensic about traffic performance. You will constantly measure results to achieve success and identify further opportunities for US audience growth.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

Relevant editorial experience with proven background in digital and the worlds of homes/gardens
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong visual sensibilities; commercial-first mindset combined with editorial nous. You need to be able to deliver top-flight content on a consistent basis.
SEO expertise and a keen interest in and understanding of analytical tools, which you’ll use to inform your content.
Management experience and leadership skills, so you can motivate your team to success.
A strong contacts book, with a clear interest in both celebrity media and interior design. An eye on the US design world is a bonus.
Ability to work calmly under pressure, be focused on goals with a sense of urgency, self-guidance and ability to quickly turn an idea into a final product.
Collaborative team player, with a resourceful can-do attitude, who thrives in a competitive, fast-paced environment; ability to work cross-functionally and directly with clients.
