Reporter

A news reporter for the Star Democrat with experience covering local news and features, writing news content and working with digital and/or print media. The reporter will be responsible for finding stories, reporting local news coverage and putting together about 8 articles per week focusing on Talbot County, Maryland and the surrounding counties of Queen Anne’s, Caroline and Dorchester. The Star Democrat is a daily newspaper of record covering much of Maryland’s Mid-Shore region. You will cover many beats, including crime, courts, breaking news and features. Much of the work will be conducted on an enterprise basis, with a lot of freedom for individual reporting.
