Staff Writer, Style & Accessories

Wirecutter is seeking a staff writer to focus on style: apparel and accessories. As a writer on the Style team, you’ll need to have a strong sense of style and emerging brands, a great eye for quality, and meticulous attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for finding the best of the best for categories like T-shirts, sneakers, sunglasses, and laptop bags–research-heavy projects that can often take weeks or months to complete. You’ll also write lighter fare, perhaps testing an Insta-famous sweatshirt to see if it lives up to the hype or explaining how to best care for a pricey leather jacket. As a Wirecutter writer, your testing and point of view matters, but it’s equally important to consider those with different needs. A great Style guide will include input from a variety of testers with diverse perspectives.
