The Information is looking for an editor to join our growing editorial team. This is an important role, overseeing a group of reporters covering aspects of the technology industry and helping guide their coverage. The Information is a subscription-only publication dedicated to original reporting on technology and its impact across industries. In its nearly eight year history, we’ve made a name for ourselves in our breaking-news and investigative coverage of major tech firms, venture capital and media. We now have a team of roughly 20 reporters and half a dozen editors and are continuing to grow steadily. This year alone we have launched several daily newsletters and have other major expansion efforts in the works. Our subscribers include some of the most influential people on the planet. Our editing team includes alumni of the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and the New York Times. The successful candidate will have five to 10 years’ experience in either editing or reporting, although a mix of both would be ideal, preferably at a publication covering business and technology. Duties are varied but include editing both news and feature stories, overseeing the final stages of stories through to publication and helping conceptualize future stories in conjunction with reporters and other editors.
