The Corporate Media Relations team is a centralized function that leads top-tier media engagement on behalf of IBM, managing relationships and coordinating efforts across the broader Communications & Citizenship organization. In this role you will partner with communications colleagues, executive leadership, outside agencies and stakeholders to advise on and execute strategic media relations that advance our business priorities and expand awareness of IBM among key audiences. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating outreach across top-tier general news, business, and broadcast outlets in support of IBM’s five core campaigns areas: Business Growth, Good Tech, Artificial Intelligence, Hybrid Cloud, and Research + Innovation. This includes client and partnership announcements, product launches, proprietary data and research, and proactive storytelling opportunities that support key narratives and business objectives. You will work with the communications leadership team to support media relations across high-priority company-wide initiatives, organizational changes, executive engagements and more.
