ICE (Intercontinental Exchange) is seeking a Communications Associate to join a team that supports internal communications initiatives for all of our company's employees. This role requires a creative corporate communications professional who excels at producing a wide range of compelling content for multiple internal channels. The ideal candidate will have experience relevant to communicating with employees, such as proven employee engagement tactics, an understanding of human resources fundamentals and/or experience positioning an employer brand.
A broad skill set with experience in the public relations, human resources, investor relations and/or marketing industries is a plus. Beyond these fundamental qualities, the applicant should have a passion for the financial services or mortgage industries, as well as a basic understanding of capital markets and global business issues. Agency experience or work at a publicly listed company is preferred.
Responsibilities
Support internal communications initiatives for all company employees, which encompasses a group of 14,000+ employees located in over 20 countries
Create compelling content for multiple internal channels that drives employee engagement and action, shapes employee experience, informs on company strategy and cross-promotes business units and products
Synthesize complex, often technical, content and craft messages that are easy for employees to understand and take action on
Organize logistics and related communications for in-person employee engagement events in our offices worldwide
Contribute to campaigns and initiatives that enhance the company's reputation among internal stakeholders
Continually measure effectiveness of communications tactics and proactively consider improvements to optimize
Regularly assist with communications requests from partners such as Human Resources, Technology, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Business Continuity and Information Security
Proactively make connections across the company and seek ideas for content that is in line with overall internal communications strategies
Coordinate messaging and event logistics for employee town halls and other meetings
Engage colleagues at all levels of the organization and build productive professional relationships
Knowledge And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field
4+ years of corporate communications experience, with prior roles in either agency or corporate settings preferred
Exceptional content creation skills across a range of channels, such as blogs, social posts, message development, executive briefing materials and video scripts
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a large, complex enterprise
Experience in content-driven, multimedia storytelling such as video or podcasting a plus
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel a plus
Highly organized and professional demeanor
Confidence and professional presence working with senior leaders
Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask with occasionally shifting priorities
Ability to function independently in a hybrid work arrangement and with a manager based in a different location

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
