We’re currently hiring a Copywriter/Editor to support a Federal client.
The Team
This role will work closely with the team in supporting a Federal client – a joint military agency that provides medical assistance to nearly 10 million beneficiaries worldwide. The Copywriter/Editor will oversee copywriting and editing efforts as well as provide copywriting and editing services for a variety of types of documents.

Key Responsibilities
Concepting ideas and researching and writing content
Drafting copy for a wide range of media, including social media, print documents, website(s), radio and video scripts, among other marketing materials
Developing and creating campaign ideas and content suggestions to align with content calendars
Distill complex health and medical jargon into digestible information and into marketing materials
Editing others and your own work using GPO and specific Federal client editing styles and brand guidelines
Communicating with team leaders and team members around deadlines and ensuring deadlines are met
Required Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. degree in marketing, advertising, or communications (or an equivalent degree) from an accredited four-year university
3+ years’ experience as a copywriter/editor
2+ years of experience with healthcare/health writing
2+ years of experience writing and editing content for various mediums and in accordance with Plain Language standards as well as GPO and other Government brand guidelines
Location: This role will be performed onsite at the client office in Falls Church, VA. This Position requires Individual to reside and work within the continental United States due to contract requirements.
