We’re looking for a Social Media Editor to join us on a fixed term contract basis to help drive social engagement and referrals on Ideal Home. You’ll be comfortable producing stills, reels and editing short videos for use across our social platforms, and equally passionate about tracking results of your posts to help us drive forward our social strategy.

What you'll be doing…

As Social Media Editor at Ideal Home, you'll create shareable content (images, reels and video) for use across all social platforms for Ideal Home. You'll manage and implement social strategies across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Flipboard and TikTok and manage team editorial calendar to ensure all key calendar dates are covered.

You'll work alongside key stakeholders in the company, including marketing, ecommerce and commercial, to deliver successful editorial and commercial social campaigns, represent the social media team in brand meetings, analyse referral traffic and deliver weekly reports and work alongside the Content Director and brand editors to give social support and share knowledge to wider Future brands when required.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

A passion for social media with a thorough understanding of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and Flipboard.
A finger on the pulse for knowing what works on social media and the latest platform features and trends.
A positive, creative and enthusiastic attitude.
Superb written skills.
Ability to work brilliantly independently and as a team.
Photoshop and video experience.
Experience with Canva.

The expected range for this role is £29,000 - £34,000.

This is a Hybrid role from our London Paddington Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
