News Editor - UK

This IGN role focuses on both a daily and long-form news content strategy during UK hours, reporting directly to IGN’s Director of News. You will work with a team of writers, both internal and freelancers, to report on news stories from a variety of sources, including your own industry contacts. We’re looking for someone who devours news online and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone to pursue original reporting for news discovery or to add new value to reports that are already out there – and to collaborate with our team of award-winning reporters who are experienced at doing the same. They will also be responsible for recruiting and leading IGN’s pool of freelance writers in UK hours. IGN’s editorial team is made up of all kinds of people that share a common love of games, TV, movies, comics, tech, and all things geeky.
