We are seeking seasoned, well-published niche specialists to optimize existing articles and write an occasional op-ed piece.
What you’ll mostly do:
Read and edit articles, changing and tweaking the diction and syntax as you go to make it feel more like your own.
Lightly edit the content so it aligns with our formatting standards (e.g., bullet points, headings, numbered lists, etc.) and our content standards (e.g., active voice, second person, present tense, etc.).
Fact-check articles and link to sources as described in our style guide.
Add expert quotations as described in our style guide.
Add relevant references (e.g., pop culture, world news, etc.) from within the last two months.
Add product links (we will provide you with the links; you do not need to research new products) for product review articles.
Add a hook and conclusion in your own words.
What you’ll occasionally do:
Write op-ed pieces specific to your niche.
