Sports Reporter

We have an immediate opening for a Sports Reporter who is ready for the challenge of maintaining our excellent local sports coverage. The right candidate will be a talented journalist with a demonstrated ability to write and shoot photos. We'd like to find someone with some experience, but we are willing to train recent college graduates.

Our team members are expected to design vibrant, reader-friendly pages, write clear and compelling headlines, be sound editors of copy, handle social media posting and shoot and edit video. You must be able to work collaboratively with the other members of our newsroom. Our staff covers eight competitive high schools, recreational and community sports.
