Business News Fellow

The Insider Fellowship Program provides two weeks of carefully-curated training in newsgathering, writing, and storytelling, after which fellows are considered fully-fledged members of our global reporting team. Our fellows are paid an annual salary of £23,000, pro rata for the six months of the fellowship. When the six months are up, our fellows are primed for the next phase of their journalism careers. As a business news fellow, you’ll get experience as a breaking news reporter, hitting the biggest stories of the day, immersed in the global news flow. You’ll also get time to research and write the stories that matter to you and our audience. With guidance from our features editor, you’ll have the opportunity to dig around on hard-hitting investigations, research and write compelling features, interview leading lights from the world of business, and more. As such, we need a creative, self-driven, ambitious early-career journalist. The ideal candidate will be someone who is enthusiastic about writing a mix of articles including short posts, photo-based stories, interviews, and long-form features. We value original ideas.
