Special Projects and Studios Social Producer (Contract)

Insider is hiring a part-time Social Producer to join our Special Projects and Studios teams to focus on our custom and special projects ideation and distribution.

The Role & Team:

In this six-month contract role, you will support the editorial Special Projects team and the Insider Studios team to leverage social media across all editorial and custom sponsorships. Social executions and elevations are becoming vital to most sponsorships as clients have a strong desire to be included on emerging strategies and platforms.

This role also ensures our Project Managers, Client Success Managers, Special Projects Editors, Studios Editors, Content Producers, and others have the social answer and reporting needed to meet their goals in a timely fashion. The individual would embed with our social team, in order to stay on top of the latest trends and our audience data, and would work directly with Special Projects and Studios on proposals and projects.

This role reports directly to the Special Projects executive editor. This role is based out of our New York City office or can be fully remote. This individual will work three days a week, for a maximum of 20 hours per week, for six months at Insider.

Key Responsibilities:

Trafficking social posts for numerous editorial sponsorships totalling some $6 million in revenue per year.
Ideating and executing social extensions for large tentpole campaigns. These plans have been crucial in selling campaigns like T100, Climate Action 30, and Talent Insider with Indeed to sell.
Providing social channels for 27 custom campaigns and posting and distributing all custom videos.
Collaborate with Distribution, Special Projects, and Studios teams to create proactive and reactive plans for social media distribution and amplification of content, specifically sponsored editorial — for proposals and also sold business.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI against series/special report’s goals and reports on social for select custom campaign wrap reports.
Deliver integrated strategy and schedule for edit sponsorships and custom campaigns that are sold.
Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

Experience with Social Flow and/or other social media platforms
Experience executing brand campaigns, or campaigns requiring brand handshake.
Strong organizational skills
Experience writing social copy around business and lifestyle topics
Familiarity with productivity tools such as Airtable preferred

Salary:

$30-$45/hour (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
