Travel Production Fellow

Insider is hiring a travel production fellow to join our Lifestyle team. This fellowship is set to begin in January 2023. We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player with a passion for travel to help work with freelance writers and staff travel editors to build and update articles in our CMS. You will conduct research and lead outreach to various venues and businesses, coordinate with Insider’s photo team and freelance photographers for travel coverage, and track the status of ongoing assignments. These stories will include robust destination guides, transportive visual features, reported stories, and quick hits and trending topics. Through this work, the travel production fellow will learn invaluable skills that all journalists need to produce high-quality work read by millions of readers, with a behind-the-scenes look at how a major digital publisher operates. As the Insider Life travel editorial fellow, you’ll join an in-house team of editors and journalists, and work with a vast network of freelance contributors located around the globe. You’ll help to build and produce the stories that millions of readers come to Insider daily to read and help bring our travel stories to life. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and works well independently. Experience working in a CMS is appreciated, but not required.
