Video Editing Fellow, Big Batches

Insider is hiring a UK-based video editing fellow on one of its flagship shows, “Big Batches”. This is a paid fellowship with an annual salary of £23,000. The role is a 6-month contract, starting January 2023. Big Batches follows the process of cooking huge batches of food in different places around the world, explained by the chefs in charge. This role can be based from the studio, office or remote (on non filming days). This role is based in London, the Big Batches team has producers based in the US as well. That means time management, planning and committing to deadlines are essential to ensure a good workflow. Editing fellows can pitch new ideas, work closely with producers and edit highly visual and character-driven episodes that are about 10+ minutes long. The job involves working closely with producers, editors and managers to ensure we have solid, high-quality stories with accurate and compelling information. The candidate will help create videos for a global audience across the web and social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be familiar with our work and eager to learn and lean into our style.
