Videographer/Editor
Insider is hiring a Videographer/Editor II to join our News & Documentary video team.

Our News & Documentary team works to fulfill that mission by producing impactful and fascinating video stories.
The Role & Team:
As an editor, you will help create videos for our Insider News page on YouTube and other social media platforms, and our website. You will also help develop our creative style and build templates and MOGRTs.
This role reports directly to the Senior Managing Producer for the team and sits on the larger News & Documentary video team. This role will work partially out of the New York City office and will be union-eligible.
Key Required Skills:
The highest journalism standards and a sharp eye for accuracy.
Strong skills in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Graphics, animation, audio/music editing and color correction skills.
Shooting experience is a plus.
A commitment to fair and inclusive storytelling.
3+ years of experience producing videos.
The Ideal Candidate Also Has:
Strong news judgment and a passion for current events.
The ability to work quickly and collaboratively with a fast-paced team.
An eye for finding strong visuals and getting creative with found footage and original graphics.
A familiarity with our work and eagerness to learn our conversational style.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $70,500 - $80,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
