Police Misconduct Reporter

Local police departments in Illinois are largely unregulated by the state resulting in serious uses of force going uninvestigated; disparate standards for mental health responses and domestic violence calls. The reporter will work with our team and local partners to investigate police abuses and examine the systems that enable misconduct.

Salary and Benefits:
$57,000

Four weeks paid time off, plus sick days and family leave. Regular holidays, including team-wide weeks off in August and December. Invisible Institute fully covers healthcare, dental, and vision insurance.

This position will be:
Hybrid (some days in the office per week)
