About The Opportunity
Jacobs Nuclear is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. We are looking for an individual who brings fresh ideas, creativity and an eye for detail, to support the delivery of our internal and external communications plan.
Your activities will include
Sourcing, gathering, creating, editing and proofing content across all media forms e.g. digital media, print, photography, film, online and offline to support our internal and external objectives.
Identifying and developing good news stories from across our programme and major projects.
Writing stories / articles for internal and customer magazines, press releases and social media
Creating and executing communications plans
Organise internal events to support workforce engagement
Working with internal support functions and third parties to deliver activities in the communications strategy
Working with internal graphic designers to deliver high quality materials and multimedia
Writing award submissions
Here’s What You’ll Need
Significant experience of working in public relations, communications or marketing teams
A track record of delivering communications that deliver agreed outcomes
Good understanding of new and multimedia techniques as well as of content management systems and design
Experience of overseeing multimedia production and editing skills are desirable
Demonstrates inclusive and respectful behaviours with ability to positively challenge others
