Job Description
We are looking for a part time journalist to join the Nine Radio Sydney newsroom. You will research, write, edit and present a live national news bulletin across 4 overnight shifts a week.

You will be required to:
Edit and present accurate, informative and interesting news bulletins.
Work 4 overnight shifts a week
Present live, timed-out bulletins as well as recorded bulletins.
Generate ideas for stories, and follow leads from contacts, politicians, the public, media conferences and other sources.
Research and write radio news stories.
Conduct interviews with a variety of newsmakers.
Exercise editorial judgement on the best angle from which to approach a story.
Meet hourly and half hourly deadlines.
Understand and comply with media law and industry codes of conduct and regulations, as well as completing necessary training and accreditation.
Take direction from the Sydney News Director as well as shift editors.
