Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Jr. Copywriter for a client of ours. Our client's team in London is searching for a talented contractor copywriter with strong editing skills. In the role, one will be trusted to create relevant and effective marketing materials to engage current and prospective audiences, predominately in financial services. This is a consulting opportunity working 30-40/hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Reviewing and editing long-form collateral
Writing compelling, persuasive and customer-focused marketing communications, including email; webpages; video; adverts for print, TV, display and OOH; social copy; promotional and supporting material for events; sales collateral
Generate creative ideas that are unexpected, on brief and on brand
Take pride in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven approach
Collaborate closely with a global creative team
Build strong relationships with marketing partners and stakeholders
Qualifications:
3+ years writing experience preferably with some financial services background
A strong portfolio, including copywriting samples for collateral such as long-form product brochures, event write-ups, sell sheets and white papers is essential
Short copy for ads and scriptwriting for videos is desirable
Demonstrated experience in producing creative and strategic communications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to interact professionally with internal business partners in order to understand their business objectives
Experience working with internal stakeholders; specifically sales or product teams to understand the specific product features/benefits and sales processes in order to create effective copy targeted to specific "player-type" audiences
Experience working closely with design teams and creating communications within an established visual-design system
The ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
