Our client is a Texas based start-up company that acquires and scales heating, ventilation and AC repair and installation businesses in the region.
They are looking to acquire up to 20 companies in Texas and South of California in a 5 year period. We are seeking to add a Junior Content Write to their team, who will be responsible for researching industry-related topics and writing marketing copies to drive potential customers to our client’s websites.
Rate paid in USD : 10.00 per hour / US Office Hours Responsibilities Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) Write clear marketing copy to promote our products / services Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems Proofread and edit blog posts before publication Submit work to editors for input and approval Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic Promote content on social media Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone) Update website content as needed Requirements 1+ years of work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role Portfolio of published articles Experience doing research using multiple sources Familiarity with web publications Excellent writing and editing skills in English Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.
g. WordPress) Ability to meet deadlines Must possess your own laptop / desktop that meets the following minimum qualifications : Processor : Core i5 or higher RAM : 8GB or higher Must have a reliable internet connection with the following bandwidth requirements : Minimum Download Speed : 6 Mbps Minimum Upload Speed : 5 Mbps A quiet, private place in your home where you can work without background noise and interruption.
