We’re looking for a Junior Copywriter to work alongside as part of our growing copywriting and editorial team to write and develop the copy on all touchpoints of Laced. This role is perfect for a passionate writer who’s got a keen eye for detail, an eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in sneakers and fashion. You’ll have knowledge around writing product copy, social captions and blog posts and you’ll know your way around a CMS. You’re a team player who welcomes constructive feedback and you’re always forthcoming with new ideas and inspiration.
What does a day in the life of a Junior Copywriter at Laced look like? You’ll catch up with the team in our morning stand-up meeting, then tackle the day’s copy tasks. You’ll work with the Head of Copy and Midweight Copywriters to write product copy, then you’ll write blog copy, following the brand’s Tone of Voice document at all times. Ad-hoc requests are part of the job, and you’ll write the week’s social captions - adding flair to each one.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with the Midweight Copywriters to ensure every product on Laced has PDP copy that’s SEO-friendly and adheres to the brand’s tone of voice, and carry out spot checks on site daily
Write editorial blog copy
Work with the E-commerce team to deliver PLP copy
Deliver social captions for organic and paid socials
Deliver a weekly round-up of relevant industry news, inspiration and proposed content ideas that can be used across the blog and socials
AdHoc copy includes: UX copy, customer service macros, campaign copy and more
