What You'll Do:
As our Junior Technical Writer you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and editing technical knowledgebase content for customers, customer service partners, retail partners, and service technicians. You will learn mechanical and technological concepts as you work closely with product experts in order to communicate necessary information to our various consumer groups. This entry level position is based at our HQ in Salt Lake City, Utah.
How You Will Help Us Win:
Create and design service instructions for product troubleshooting and part replacement/repairs for internal and external reference.
Contribute to the strategy and implementation of growing and updating knowledgebase content for current and upcoming products and/or policies or processes for internal reference.
Create and enhance customer-facing content (FAQ’s, troubleshooting, Standard Operating Procedures) for constantly evolving processes.
Partner with Operations, Engineering and Instructional Design Teams on alignment between training and knowledge content
Create and maintain technical support knowledge content for multiple consumer groups including technical troubleshooting, part replacements instructions, standard operating procedures, and more.
Collaborate with Product Design, Engineering, and Instructional Design teams to communicate new and evolving product issues and to develop efficient diagnostic steps to bring forth consistent resolution.
Work with contact center resources to understand and prioritize knowledge base needs and close gaps in our various help centers.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
1-3 years of writing experience with technical knowledge content preferred
Demonstrates excellent grammar, writing skills & attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet pivoting initiatives and fluid deadlines
Ability to think strategically while working independently to implement best practice guidelines
Degree in English Writing or related preferred
