We value enterprise reporting and we are looking for someone who breaks stories that lead newscasts. In-person attendance is required.
Job Duties:
Demonstrate unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards.
Develop sources who provide tips, early access to information and allow the reporter to break stories of significance.
Push the envelope with creative storytelling formats for all platforms.
Effective at making public information requests and pushing agencies for answers
Mine data sets and create databases to uncover information that can be visualized for all platforms.
Passionate about making viewers care about complex issues while finding emotional and impactful components
Collaborate with news managers to dig into the big story of the day for topical investigations that accentuate unique angles and exclusive content.
Required Skills:
Strong writing and storytelling skills on all platforms
Must be a team player who collaborates thoughtfully and respectfully.
Dynamic live reporting skills
Juggle stories and projects along multiple timelines, demonstrating exceptional time-management skills.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of reporting experience with a reel that demonstrates investigative work.
A degree in journalism, communications, law or related experience is preferred.
Military DINFOS experience is a plus.
Bilingual experience is a plus.
The estimated base salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
