Airliner World is looking for a new assistant editor to join our award-winning team and help drive our market-leading brand, a flagship title of the Key Publishing portfolio, through its next stage of development, to cement our position as a respected voice on air transport matters.
The successful candidate will be bursting with ideas for interesting and exciting print and digital features to meet the needs of our wide and varied audience. This full-time role is challenging and demanding, but the rewards include the chance to travel the world to cover the biggest and most important stories in the airline sector today.
You will need to be an aviation enthusiast with a sound working knowledge of the industry, preferably with experience in photography, video and audio production and will have travelled in pursuit of your aeronautical interests. This role spans all mediums including print, digital (websites, podcasts and videos) and social media.
Ideally, you will already be an experienced journalist with an understanding of regular production schedules within a small editorial team, but candidates without this background who can demonstrate excellent potential will be considered.
