Kforce's client, a global entertainmnet client in New York, is seeking a Writer. Responsibilities: The Writer will be responsible for pitching, writing and updating a robust daily slate of commerce articles daily, including breaking news about deals; deal roundups; evergreen shopping guides and more.
Requirements
2+ years of professional journalism or other relevant editorial experience in covering major consumer brands
Proven reporting record in following daily deals, and a solid sense of what everyday consumers want to buy and when
Demonstrate expertise with commerce editorial writing - monetizing links, tracking affiliate sales, optimizing content for search engines, tracking down daily deals and following shopping trends
Seasoned pro in writing e-commerce articles from a shopper's perspective
Experience writing commerce content for an established e-commerce outlet - the Strategist, Forbes Vetted, Wirecutter, etc. - is preferred
Demonstrate Strong Expertise In
E-commerce editorial content
Wide world of online shopping across a broad range of categories, including (but not limited to): kitchen, travel, consumer tech, furniture, apparel, streaming, large and small appliances and seasonal products
Consumer tech buying seasons and trends
E-commerce affiliate platforms (Rakuten, Amazon Affiliates, Howl)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
