Producer, Daily Podcast

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Producer, Daily Podcast (Producer 2 - Podcast) to work on our daily news podcast, Seattle Now. Under the supervision of the Supervising Producer, you’ll develop, pitch and produce show segments that keep our daily listeners up to speed on essential news in the Puget Sound region. Pre-interview guests, provide host with background research, and write host introductions and interview questions. Gather sound, conduct interviews in the field as assigned. Oversee studio recording sessions. Mix audio pieces and prepare podcasts for publishing. This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of two days per week at KUOW’s facility.
