Editor

Seeking an editor for a local publication to help set its editorial direction and expand its readership. You will have proven experience as an editor in a newsroom environment and excellent judgement on story selection. Candidate must have strong personal communication skills and passion for writing with a desire to effectively communicate the news to the community.

Responsibilities:

Formulating, coordinating, and planning editorial content for newspaper

Overseeing delivery of breaking news in a timely manner

Writing stories and editorials

Thorough and pays attention to detail
