Multi Media Journalist / Video Editor

Las Vegas is as dynamic a news market as anywhere in the country, and the Review-Journal is the area’s dominant news source. We are looking for a creative bilingual MMJ/Video Editor to help us produce our 7 minute weekday newscast. Among many honors, the Review-Journal won 2022 National Headliner Awards for Journalistic Innovation and Staff Photo Portfolio and a 2021 National Headliner Award for public service; won the Society of Professional Journalists’ Sigma Delta Chi Award for deadline reporting in 2018 and 2020; and won 33 Best of the West awards in the past four years. Bilingual candidate capable of shooting and editing video content for news, weather, features, and sports for Review-Journal websites and social media channels. MMJ will assist in the creation of a variety of content including but not limited to the following:live studio and field production, as well as breaking news coverage. Position also requires ability to operate Studio Tricaster, LiveU technology, Bit Central Fuel, and properly set up lighting and studio set backdrops for live and taped productions. At times, will serve as producer for segments. Prepares live and on demand video content from studio and field as designated as well as accompanying graphics.
